I sat quickly upright in the cot that was supposed to be my bed, not sure what had awakened me. I threw off the covers that didn't offer much protection against the cold. It wasn't Schultz snoring- apparently he had gotten into some trouble with Klink and was marching a post outside of the cooler. A corporal that I didn't know had taken his post, and I wasn't about to ask him for anything.
